Throughout the month of December, I’ll be writing a post a day for the fabulous project Reverb 12. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the year that’s wrapping up and using the fruits of that reflection to shape the year ahead – in other words, exactly the kind of thing I love to think about! So, without further ado, here’s today’s prompt.
Choice: Being an adult means making your own choices. What choices were the hardest to make this year?
It’s been somewhat of a big year. We’ve bought a house, I’ve grown a business, and within our family, there have been a lot of decision points. None of them have been as stressful as I’d feared – I’ve felt supported, informed, and empowered through all of it, which is pretty miraculous and delightful.
I think it’s getting easier as I get older. My decision-making skills have definitely improved over time, and so has my confidence and support system. What is it they say? Old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway?
